Ingrid Christensen, founder and president of INGCO International, is the renowned leader of the premier language service provider. Ingrid prides herself on consistently delivering a product that combines superior service, unsurpassed knowledge of the industry and always exceeding client’s expectations. Ingrid has dedicated over 10 years of her professional career to interpreting and translating.

Ingrid’s expertise lies in creating an end product that is not only true to the original but also renders a meaningful message to the client—regardless of their spoken language or cultural background. Ingrid cares deeply about ensuring that the delivered communication is both accurate and appropriate to the target market. She has worked with numerous cultural groups both within and outside of the United States and is considered a vital resource regarding the various immigrant communities throughout the country. Ingrid has worked with large corporations including Medtronic, 3M, and the University of Minnesota Department of Biodiversity.

Ingrid earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Spanish, Legal Studies and Latino Studies and a minor in Danish from the University of Minnesota. She also completed a Certificate in Interpreting and Translating from the University of Minnesota, the Supreme Court Interpreter Certification program as well as the Account Executive Boot Camp. She graduated with a Masters of Arts Degree in Management from Hamline University. Ingrid is currently enrolled at the Minnesota College of Art and Design.

Ingrid is an active member of the Upper Midwest Translators and Interpreters Association, the American Translator’s Association, the St. Paul Convention and Visitors Authority, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce and the Latino Professional Business Network.

Ingrid, in her spare time, is an artist at heart. Not only has she created sculpture in her yard and office, she continuingly introduces elements that expand her friends and families perception of what art can be. Ingrid is a dedicated mom to her 4-year old son and has been a Certified Group Fitness Instructor for more than 12 years.

Minnesota Department of Health Interpreter Roster

 

Spoken Language Health Care

Interpreter Roster

 

In 2008 Legislation, the Commissioner of Health is required to establish a voluntary statewide roster of spoken language health care interpreters to address access concerns for Minnesotans, particularly in rural areas.

 

The Roster is a listing of spoken languages and persons who interpret those languages. The Roster can link languages and interpreters to health care subject areas and specialty settings in which the interpreter may have work experience.

 

 

California Healthcare Interpreters Association

CHIA represents healthcare interpreters and providers working together to overcome linguistic and and cultural barriers to high-quality care.

INGCO International is proud to support MCAD's initiatives, including their continuing education courses, as they provide students the instruction they need to grow artistically, along with the freedom critical to fostering their individual creativity.
